Restless in the Ranch

Well it's 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. Caffeine does in fact effect me. I'm in Highlands Ranch for the weekend. Cameron opened his mission call today. He's serving in the San Fernando Mission in California, Spanish speaking. I am so excited for him. I know he'll be an awesome missionary. I hope the people in California realize what a great guy they're getting. He's one of those people that can make you laugh when all you want to do is cry. He's always been my best friend and partner in crime. I'm going to miss him so much, but I know he will be serving the Lord. I'm so proud of my little brother. I wish everyone could know him. He truly makes my life better and more entertaining.
P.S.  If you do get to know him and he falls asleep while talking to you or in the middle of a rock band song, he doesn't mean it personal. When he's tired, he's tired. Also, if you're talking to him on the phone, he'll either talk your ear off or say bye in the middle of the conversation. It really just depends on his mood. but he'll leave you amazing voicemails.

Growing Up

I am not sure how long I will keep this up. I'm not an avid blogger or anything like that. I just thought I might be grown up enough to have a blog, even though I don't have a cute engagement story or anything like that to tell. Unfortunately, I probably won't be posting cute curtains or pillow shams that I've made during craft time either. But I most likely will be posting the little things in life that happen that I appreciate. One thing I have learned is to notice the small things in life. Sometimes you remember the everyday happenings the most. Like yesterday, this guy on campus ran right passed me head down and everything. Guess he really needed to be somewhere. Well, it made me laugh and I had to call someone and tell them about it. And right now, my cat, Oliver James, just got stuck in the window blinds. Anyway... So my plan for the blog is just to post little tid-bits each day. Just whatever comes to my mind.
